Hotel and motel employees have a tough job. I am going to give advice to help people to feel better about themselves, about how to think in a more positive manner and the benefits which this can bring.

My name is Steve Hill and I am the type of person who would always be thinking in a negative way, I used to worry about most things in life and was basically unhappy.

My life could not continue in this way and I needed to find a way out of this rut. I was now at the age of twenty-two and decided that enough was enough. I began to read books about people who were successful in life and not only found them interesting but also beneficial.

One of the books I read was about the golf player Tiger Woods. He is a very interesting character and a very good and successful golf player. It explained how he always wears red and black colours for his clothes, on the last day of each tournament. Red and black are chosen for their bold colours and it represents what his attitude is going to be on this day. He is basically saying to all of the players that he is going to just go for it, no fear, no worries, he is just going to attack. In his opinion, if he has this attitude and plays well, he will have every chance of winning the tournament. Now he obviously can not win every tournament, but he does seem to win his fair share.

I remember feeling very nervous about attending an interview. This was exactly the type of situation which I would worry and get stressed out about. I would question why I was even attending the interview as I was bound to fail. This is of course an example of my negative attitude.

From reading all of these books, I decided that worrying was certainly not going to help me and that I needed to think positive. I decided to go and buy a new suit as the couple which I had were now old and tatty. I will never forget seeing myself in the mirror with this new suit on, I looked extremely smart and I felt very proud of myself. Just wearing this new suit gave me a huge boost of confidence. I went to the interview feeling more positive than ever and pretended I was Tiger, I was just going to go for it and see what happens.

The interview went well and the answers seemed to flow as my brain was quite relaxed. I actually quite enjoyed the meeting and am happy to let you know that I was offered the position two weeks later.

When I feel down, I now go and treat myself to some new clothes. If I am going out to a social event which I do not really want to go to, I wear these new clothes to give me an extra confidence boost. I also go with the right attitude, no more worrying, no more fear, I will have fun and if I am not enjoying myself I will just come home early.

I continue to read more and more books from many different successful people. I am always aiming to improve my life and I also want to be a success. I now worry and stress far less than I did before and am generally happy with my life.

I also play a lot of sport and try to play in an attacking style. Attack is supposed to be the best form of defence and it also far more enjoyable to play sport in this way. I have even become very sad as I always try to wear red and black when I am playing snooker for example.

During both the 1980′s and 90′s, T-shirts became even more popular. Types of print, as well as availability, increased. Today you’d be hard-pressed to look in someone’s closets or drawers and not find at least one.

I have always been confused on this. My mom calls anything around your calf tea length but I think she made this up a long time ago. Or her mom made it up and she just stuck with it.

I looked up cocktail dresses on the internet and they seem to be in all shapes and sizes, they just aren’t full length gowns. There is a wide array of things available out there. Cocktail dresses for garden parties, some more appropriate for weddings. I think the word cocktail dress encompasses a lot. I even found websites devoted solely to plus size cocktail dresses, or so they claimed.

I was intrigued when I saw these sites claiming to be devoted solely to plus sizes so I investigated. The do have some very nice things; however you can understand my confusion when I see that half of the models are stick thin. This sight says it caters to plus sizes, leading you to believe that the dresses are for larger women. But then you look at the dress and the girl wearing it can’t weigh more than 110 pounds. I admit I am not exactly sure what constitutes a plus size but I am pretty sure it is not a size two.

For some reason I finds this kind of angers me. The culture in the US is one that makes 12 year old girls anorexic and puts 8 year olds on diets. I feel this situation is just another example of what is wrong with our society. A girl goes on a site claiming to cater to people wearing here size, and of course wants to see what the dress will look like on someone like her, only to be confronted with a thin lizzy string back at her. Well I wonder how that makes her feel?

The fabric of a jacket should not pull across the back area, around the hips or in the armholes. Also, be sure to check the sleeve length.

With proper care, your leather jacket will last many years, making it a wise investment. In fact, the longer you wear leather, the more “broken in” it becomes, similar to the way a baseball glove breaks in and becomes a part of you.

When purchasing a new leather bomber jacket, keep the following in mind.

Style: There are many styles to choose from, so think about how you will be wearing it. Most jackets today can be worn either dressed up with a shirt, tie and dress pants, or dressed down with a casual shirt and jeans or khakis.

Weather: Many leather jackets now come with removable linings made of Thins late, pile or fleece – prefect for staying warm in colder climates. Take out the lining, and you can still wear the coat in spring and fall.

Sizing: A leather jacket should be on the loose side so it can be worn over a sweater or other piece of bulky clothing.

Cowhide is more rugged and generally costs less (anywhere from $300 to $500).

While imperfections such as cuts, scars, and scratches will exist; the grain in its natural state has the best fiber strength, and therefore the best durability. Finished Split Leather

The middle or lower section of a hide that has been split into two or more thickness. A polymer coating is applied and embossed to mimic grain leather. Finished splits should only be used in low stress applications because they basically have no grain. If the
Polymer coating is left out it is often used to make suede. Not considered to be riding grade, but can look good nevertheless.

Top Grain Leather

Top grain leather has been sanded to remove scars and imperfections, then sprayed or pasted for a uniform look. The smooth side is where the hair and the natural grain used to be. Top grain is not the same quality as full grain or naked leather, but thickness of 1.2-3mm makes this type of leather a very strong and durable riding grade material.

Full-Grain and Naked Leather

Full-Grain leather is made from the finest hides, and has not been sanded to remove imperfections. Only the hair has been removed. In the case of Naked Leather, where nothing other than the dye is added; this very soft leather requires no breaking in period. Hides are typically 2mm thick, and must be hand picked for uniformity. The natural full-grain naked leather will wear better than other leather, and will actually improve over the years. This type of leather is the ultimate riding grade; the most sought after, and consequently, the most expensive.
